Hi my name is John Deathridge and I live in Corby, Northamptonshire England and as you can see from the paintings I am an artist.

I enjoy painting most subjects but prefer older scenes.

I paint in many different medias including oil, water, acrylic and pastel. I have been painting since 1990 but have enjoyed it for many more years than I would like to remember.

Of course it wasn't easy in the start, so I went to night school for approximately four years to hone my skills. While at night school I was given the confidence and inspiration to be able to paint what I wanted and how I wanted to, which is not as easy as it may sound.

I regularly hold exhibitions at the local library, and my paintings can be found for sale in several art shops in the local area.
